Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using StartBound.Life, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after changes means you accept the revised terms.
Intended use
StartBound.Life is provided for personal reflection, entertainment, education, and spiritual exploration. You may not use it to harass, exploit, or mislead others; to generate harmful content; or to claim that readings are professional advice. Readings are not a substitute for qualified medical, legal, financial, or mental-health counsel.
Your account and data
If you save a profile, birth data, or journal entries, that information is stored locally in your browser unless you explicitly use a cloud-backed account. You are responsible for keeping your device and credentials secure. We do not sell your personal data.
Intellectual property
All text, imagery, code, card designs, and generated content on StartBound.Life are owned by StartBound.Life or licensed for use within the app. You may share readings for personal use, but you may not scrape, reproduce, resell, or build a competing product using our content or code without written permission.
User conduct
Be respectful. Do not use StartBound.Life to spread hate, abuse, misinformation, or content that violates the rights of others. We reserve the right to restrict access to anyone who misuses the service or interferes with its operation.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, StartBound.Life is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app or reliance on any reading, forecast, or interpretation. You use StartBound.Life entirely at your own risk.
Changes and availability
We may add, change, or remove features, readings, or content at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access and are not responsible for downtime, data loss, or technical issues beyond our reasonable control.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where StartBound.Life is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation where possible.
