Timing Anything by the Moon
A working calendar for starting, growing, releasing and resting, tuned to the eight lunar phases.
The waxing half: build
New Moon — set one intention, written, specific, in the present tense. Do not start eight things.
Waxing Crescent — the first practical step, taken within seventy-two hours or the intention decays.
First Quarter — the friction point. Something will resist; this is the phase for the difficult email.
Waxing Gibbous — refine, edit, rehearse. Do not add scope.
The waning half: release
Full Moon — culmination and visibility. Emotions run high and truth surfaces; it is a poor time to sign, an excellent time to see.
Waning Gibbous — share what you learned. Teach it while it is still hot.
Last Quarter — cut. Cancel the subscription, end the arrangement, close the tab.
Balsamic (dark moon) — rest and review. Plan nothing. Sleep more than you think is reasonable.
The moon's sign matters as much as its phase
A New Moon in Taurus favours money and body; the same phase in Gemini favours writing and contacts. Match the intention to the sign and you halve the resistance.
