Numerology Beyond the Life Path
Expression, soul urge, personality and personal year — the four numbers that add nuance to a birth-date reading.
Life path is only the assignment
Reduce the full birth date to one digit (keeping 11, 22 and 33 as master numbers) and you have the curriculum of the life. It says nothing about how you will study it.
Expression number — the full name
Assign each letter a value one to nine and reduce the whole legal birth name. This is the toolkit: natural talent and the manner in which you are likely to be useful to others.
Soul urge — the vowels
The vowels alone give the private motive: what you would still want if no one applauded. Conflicts between soul urge and expression explain successful people who feel hollow.
Personality — the consonants
The consonants give first impressions. It is the version of you that people meet before they know you, and the gap between it and the soul urge is where most misunderstandings originate.
Personal year — the clock
Add your birth day and month to the current year and reduce. One is a beginning, five is upheaval and movement, nine is an ending. Trying to launch in a nine-year is the numerological equivalent of planting in November.
